343 Industries has shared some brand new information on the upcoming Halo 5 Guardians along with new multiplayer footage.
During a chat with Microsoft’s Major Nelson and the Xbox One team; Josh Holmes of 343 Industries showed off a multiplayer map for the Arena Mode.
Dubbed as The Rig, the multiplayer map is located on a planet called Meridian which is also a key location in the Halo 5 Guardians singleplayer campaign. According to Holmes, The Rig is an asymmetrical map which has been tested quite a lot throughout the development of the game.
In addition to this, Holmes also discussed several game modes that are going to be featured in multiplayer PVP and team modes. He also discussed a new game mode – featured in the beta – called Breakout which is new to Halo franchise. In Breakout, players only get one life per round with increased lethality.

Halo 5 Guardians is scheduled to release on Oct. 27, 2015 exclusively for Xbox One.
