Square Enix has announced that Leviathan in the upcoming Final Fantasy XV will be summoned by a female character in the game.
The announcement was made during a stage demonstration at Gamescom 2015 where the studio also shared a ‘Concept Art Summon Leviathan’ – image attached below:
Nova Crystallis reports that the announcement underlines the possibilities of female guest characters in Final Fantasy XV. However, when asked whether the female character in question could be the Female Dragoon; Hajime Tabata outrightly denied it and confirmed that it will be someone else.
In a couple of other Final Fantasy XV interviews; Tabata shared the development progress confirming that the upcoming game is precisely 65 per cent complete. In addition to this, he also confirmed that the studio is facing difficulties in maintaining 1080p and 30 frames per second on both Xbox One and Playstation 4 due to a lot of hardware differences. Final Fantasy XV does not has a concrete release date as of this instant and is scheduled to release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One; hopefully sometime next year in 2016.
