Crackdown 3 Has Offline Solo Play, Female Agents; Q&A Details Inside
When Crackdown 3 was demoed at Gamescom 2015 by Reagent Games, it immediately rose in expectations to be thought of as the Xbox One game. Now we have some more details for you thanks to a recently held Q&A session.
More important things first; the creative director of the game at Reagent Games, Dave Jones answered a question about the nature of the multiplayer mode and how it was different from the solo and co-op campaign.
In his answer Jones not only mentioned an offline option for the campaign but also shed some light on the modes separately:
Crackdown 3 has a classic solo play campaign game very similar to the original game and in that game you can play co-op with your friends if you go online. You can bring in three friends, four total in the game. The multiplayer is a whole new way to play Crackdown. So that’s basically when you go online to play a multiplayer game we are using the power of Microsoft’s cloud to deliver a whole new Crackdown experience.
In other questions Jones confirmed that physicality of the game is going to be extensive as you will be able to pick up debris from the buildings you break down and use them against the enemies too!
Crackdown 3 is also going to introduce female agents for the first time in the series. Since destruction of buildings is pretty big in the game, if you wanted to you will even be able to flatten the entire city.
So tell us, would you like to try that last one out?
