Treyarch has confirmed that the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will have capped frames per second in the multiplayer mode, but uncapped on everything else.
While responding to a fan on Twitter asking whether players will be able to get 200 frames per second in the upcoming game; Director of Development at Treyarch confirmed that in the ranked multiplayer mode, the PC frame rate will be capped at 200 frames per second, but in other game modes such as Zombies Mode, there will be no frame rate capping:

This is certainly good news for PC enthusiasts who love to push their machines to achieve the best of the multiplayer world.
