Naughty Dog aka Naughty Gods, gave us masterpieces like Uncharted and The Last of Us. They have set standards for quality, and beautiful storytelling via amazing art and memorable characters.
However, Uncharted and The Last of Us weren’t the only games Naughty Dog had planned for us in the beginning. The studio was also looking to reboot, JAK and Daxter.
Unfortunately, the studio had to cancel the game due to undisclosed reasons.
To give us an idea of how the game would have looked like, concept art studio Scribble Pad released some concept art from the game. The title was going to be called JAK 4 or JAK and Daxter 4.

Considering what ND has done with other franchises, it is safe to say that JAK 4 would have been an amazing title. The concept looks great and it is really unfortunate that ND had to scrap the idea.
JAK’s design is courtesy of Studios Creative Director James Paick, who was with ND from 2008 to 2010. You can see more amazing art from Scribble Pad, here.
Naughty Dog is currently working on Uncharted 4 and a rumored The Last of Us sequel. Uncharted 4 will release on PlayStation 4 next year.
