The new Legend of Zelda might be delayed into 2017, and some suggestive evidence led us to believe that Nintendo may now have completely different plans for the game.
The game was expected to release this year, but now it seems the game won’t even make it to Wii U in 2016. In fact, it may not be released for Wii U at all.
Nintendo shared its financial results earlier and it revealed some pretty interesting and concerning news for the Legend of Zelda fans. Nintendo listed its 2016 releases which included Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and more.
The list also featured The Legend of Zelda, but it was not mentioned as a 2016 release.
Lately, an interesting rumor was seen flying around the digital realms, which wants us to believe that this game will not release for Wii U. Instead, Nintendo is going to move it to the NX.
The same way The Guardian was moved from PS3 to PS4. However, in this case, it’s the console that’s is in trouble, not the game.
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Wii U will soon become a relic, as Nintendo will most probably share more details, or even go on to release the NX next year.
If that is the case, then we shouldn’t expect The Legend of Zelda to appear on Wii U.
