Fallout 4 Will Have More Base Customization Options Than Skyrim
Fallout 4 will offer players with extensive base customization options, way more than Skyrim ever did. During E3, Bethesda revealed an interesting new feature for Fallout 4, where player will have places to build and customize his base.
Marketing VP Pete Hines has shared more about this feature and the level of customization it will offer. Hines said that the base creator will not be limited to pre-determined frameworks for buildings. Players will have plenty of options to customize different aspects of the building.
It’s not just, ‘Hey, here’s Breezehome [one of the houses in Skyrim],’ where we just picked a house, and you can buy it, and you can go to somebody and say, ‘Here’s this much gold, and put this thing into my house.’ [In Fallout 4] it’s, ‘Now I’m building it, I’m actually building the house, I’m building the wall, I’m placing the door, I made the table, I made the mattress.’ It’s that sense of making your own way in the world and defining, ‘Who am I and where do I live and what’s my story in this world?’
He added that Fallout 4 will have limited spaces for building, but within those spaces, players will have plenty of building options.
Hines says that just like Minecraft, you can be a noob and build simple structure, or “you can also get the guys who go crazy and [can say], ‘I rebuilt the spaceship from this game… [or] I rebuilt the Tardis from Doctor Who using the lights and stuff and it looks exactly like it.’ Like, holy s**t that’s incredible.”
Sounds very promising, doesn’t it?
Fallout 4 was announced just a couple of days before E3, but was shown in detail during Bethesda’s press-conference. The feature in question was shown as well, which will surely add more depth to world of Fallout 4.
The game is expected to release on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
