Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Beta Access Date for Xbox One and PC Revealed

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is entering the beta phase next month and while we knew the Playstation 4 would get first access, PC and Xbox One availability was yet to be revealed. These dates have finally been announced by Activision.

With Sony winning the timed exclusivity on Call of Duty away from Microsoft, it was no surprise that they would offer the beta first. This will be coming August 19 to players on Playstation 4.

For PC and Xbox One owners, Activision have revealed they will get access soon after. With the game releasing November 6, things will start to get interesting for all players very soon.

The beta will kick off with Playstation 4 getting early access on the date mentioned above. This will continue until August 23. From August 26 to August 30, the beta will then be available to Xbox One and PC owners. During this phase, the players will have the opportunity to get a feel for the game, get used to the new chained movement system and to find their perfect Specialist class.

More details on what will be available in the beta will be revealed before the beta launch. This beta will not include Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 players.

The testing will not only be for the fans of the game to get a feel of what to expect, but there will also be server stress testing as well as weapon balancing taking place while gamers are busy shooting at each other.
