Those looking to get their hands on Star Wars Battlefront are going to be happy to know that the game will be available to play early via EA Access.
As we know, the service is exclusive to Xbox One so users of the console will get to play the game a few days before release. It will be helpful in deciding whether or not the new Star Wars title is worth your hard earned money.
The news was announced by Phill Spencer on Twitter, in reply to a fan question:

Star Wars Battlefront is going to be available on current-gen consoles and PC later this year. The game was showed in-detail during E3 and the title certainly shows promise.
Players will have the ability to control characters like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, both of which appeared during the gameplay footage shown at E3.
Players are going to be able to traverse planets from Star Wars such as Endor, Hoth, Tatooine and Sullust. Plenty of vehicles are driveable to make navigation easy.
Recently some gorgeous 4K screenshots were leaked from the Alpha, showing various planets from the game. Keep a look out for Star Wars Battlefront on November 17.
