The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is scheduled to get patch 1.07 in the coming days and although we don’t have an official release date for the update we do know what exactly it is going to change in the game.
Alongside the detailed changelog, we have also picked up word that the update will make things a lot easier for PlayStation 4 users.
Fans playing the game on PlayStation 4 have complained about framerate drops on numerous occasions; thankfully the developers are going to fix that with patch 1.07.
Marcin Momot, the community lead at CD Projekt Red has usually been one of the guys who shares details regarding The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt and its upcoming updates with the fans. It was him again this time.
Over at Twitter someone asked him whether the patch 1.07 will fix the framerate dips on PlayStation 4 to which Momot responded with a welcome “yes.”

This is good news but I wonder why the developers didn’t mention this in the extensive changelog that was released a couple of days ago to detail everything that was being fixed in The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.
Talking of, if you have not had the time to read up on everything that patch 1.07 is going to help you with, this is where we have covered that.
So far, CD Projekt Red has not revealed the official release date of the patch and the only reason I can think of is because they are still in the middle of some of the fixes that they have promised – hence the addition of the PlayStation 4 framerate drops issue.
