Would you like another Superman game? It has been a while since they made one and it might just turn out that someone is actually developing a title based around the original superhero.
Kieran Turan, who recognizes himself as a 3D Artist / Animator / Designer and has been freelancing since the past three years. On his LinkedIn account he has revealed that he has been working on “the upcoming Superman videogame title.”
In his recent experiences he has states that “with clients in the US & Europe, I provide 3D Animation-related production services for Games, Film, & Advertising, with a focus on character animation and rigging.”
As far as his work on the alleged new Superman game is concerned, Turan revealed that he has done “troubleshooting and repair of the 3D facial rig for the upcoming “Superman” videogame title for GameOn Audio.”
Of course that doesn’t give away much about the game in question. He didn’t mention the development studio that hired him and he has also not mentioned anything about the platforms that the game is to be released on which leaves a lot of room for speculation.
In the recent years, Superman has been featured in video games once almost every year. For instance since 2012 he has been a part of Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and now the upcoming Infinite Crisis.
However, last time a primarily Superman game came out was in 2006 when Superman Returns was developed for Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.
We will update you on this later but for now lets just add it to the pile of rumors that might or might not turn out to be true.
