San Diego Comic Con 2015 is currently being held in full flow and it has brought us some interesting news including some for Gears of War 4 beta as well as the tone of the game.
For those of you who saw the E3 2015 trailer and were wondering the reason why the developers gave it a clearly dark effect which you might see a little differently from the previous titles, Coalition has explained the reasons.
Rod Fergusson, the head of Coalition Studios explained that in their opinion the previous games in the series had slightly changed how they featured monsters, locusts and their fear.
Now with Gears of War 4 they wish to bring back that feeling of fear and mystery which the original game was so known for. The game is going to make the locusts mysterious and the fear of monsters high on the players when the game releases.
That being said, the San Diego Comic Con 2015 also revealed a release window for the beta version of the title.
We already knew that Gears of War 4 beta was going to come packed with Gears of War Ultimate Edition but that comes out August 25. However, Rod Ferguson has revealed that in order to play the Gears 4 beta you will have to have played the Gears of War Ultimate Edition by March 1, 2016.
In case you are planning on getting the Ultimate Edition (and you don’t own an Xbox One), Microsoft has launched the Gears of War Ultimate Edition Xbox One bundle that brings the game for free at a price tag of $349. Read up on this here.
