Street Fighter V PS4 Beta Details Shared by Capcom

Capcom reveals Street Fighter V Beta details for the Playstation 4, including fighters available and what countries will be able to take part.

Street Fighter V is one of the eagerly awaited games for the Playstation 4, being exclusive to that console (as well as available on PC too). Capcom have let users know some details about the Beta release.

Coming July 23rd (18:00 PT) and July 24th (3:0 CEST/10:00 JST) running for 5 days. This is exclusive for the Playstation 4. The Beta will test the online net code for the game to test load balancing and prepare Capcom for when the game is finally online.

This will probably mean that further Beta testing will also be done later to do further tests and make further optimisations. This may also include more users.

When the beta is available, this will include all six characters that were present in the E3 build. When the Beta first comes online it will feature four characters straight away. Cammy and Birdie will then be unlocked from July 25th. This is to test the new content delivery code for the game.

Stages available in the Beta will be China (Bustling Side Street), London (Terminal Station) and a new level the Forgotten Waterfall. While the player wait for an opponent they’ll also be put into the training Grid while they wait.
