According to a new announcement from Bioware, all future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC will release only on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The title released last year for current and last-gen consoles, so the new announcement means there will not be any new content available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
The good news is that players can transition to current-gen consoles and transfer their saved data. Meaning players will not have to start from scratch.
All future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One only, so we designed our Save Importer feature to help make the transition to a new console as easy as possible.
There is one problem though, players can’t transfer data from Xbox 360 to PS4 and PS3 to Xbox One. So if you’re planning to ditch your Xbox 360 in favor of PS4 or PS3 for Xbox One, be prepared to start from zero in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
The official website has also provided us with a step-by-step walkthrough of how players can transfer data between consoles. Keep in mind that you can only transfer data between same PSN IDs or Gamertags.
