Lab Zero has done a good job in developing the Skullgirls games, now they are knee deep developing a brand new action role playing game called Indivisible.
According to the developers, this new IP is going to revolve around a girl named Ajna (AHZH-na) who has some mysterious powers that she sets out to explore. It is a “globe-spanning” journey where numerous other heroes join in as she progresses.
So the developers boast of a new IP that is going to be inspired by numerous elements like Asian mythology, classics like Valkyrie Profile and some Lab Zero trademark quality:
Indivisible is inspired by classics like Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid, but with the unique characters and gameplay depth Lab Zero is known for. In addition to a fresh spin on action/RPG gameplay, Indivisible features a deep storyline inspired by southeast Asian and other world mythologies, Lab Zero’s trademark feature-quality 2D hand-drawn animation, and a lush soundtrack from legendary Secret of Mana composer Hiroki Kikuta.
Lab Zero have also released the announcement trailer for Indivisible that shows off the protagonist which you can check out above.
