There have been plenty of rumors surrounding Assassin’s Creed Chronicles and its availability on the PS Vita, but it looks like a Spanish site xtralife.es may have listed the game unintentionally before removing it when the mistake was realized.
Pockett.net are reporting that a release date of November 19 was revealed as well as the cover of the game. Interestingly the release is said to include all three of the Chronicles, based in China, Russia, and India.
Assassin’s Creed Chronicles are developed by Climax Studios and Ubisoft Montreal. Differing from the main Creed games, they are 2.5D platform games that although they have a more basic style are still based on the stealth gameplay that makes the Assassin’s Creed games popular.
Fans of Assassin’s Creed will know that Assassins from around the world are mentioned, in different time periods that were believed to be teasing at new games. This often led to rumors of the games moving to destinations like China. When Assassin’s Creed Chronicles was revealed to fans it came as no surprise as to the locations the games would be taking place in.
Originally released on PS4, PC, and Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China was the first game to be released. The other two coming before the end of 2015. Maybe the release date of November 19 for the Vita makes some sense.
Ubisoft have made no official announcements on this release as of yet but this could be a sign that the game could be coming to the Vita. Until official of course this is all speculation, especially the release date.
