The Last of Us 2 Outed Inadvertently by Nolan North!

In the past there have been mixed opinions regarding Naughty Dog’s sequel to their blockbuster title in the form of The Last of Us 2; but now we might have had the clearest idea that the game certainly is in the making.

Nolan North, the known voice actor who played David in The Last of Us was recently attending to a Q&A session where he was asked about the future video games that could be working on alongside Naughty Dog.

In his reply he motioned to the last game he made saying that was it for now, at least, but also added that he knew they were working on TLOS2 – although he could have missed out that part if he wanted to. Here’s his comment in full:

For now the last one. I know they’re doing The Last of Us 2, but my character in The Last of Us had an untimely demise.

In the past we have had a variety of claims and statements from the official as well as unofficial sources in connection with the game. For instance, the developers were brainstorming for the sequel since as long back as July 2014.

Then in December 2014 we picked up hints that the game could be in its early stages of development. However, this was followed by a little let down when the developers revealed that you should not expect The Last of Us 2 any time soon since they were fully focused on Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End.

If Nolan North’s statement is rooted in facts, it means the game is at least on such a stage that even those people know about it who are not directly related to the game!
