Forza 6 is coming out later this year on Xbox One and it introduces some never before seen features. For instance, we now have dynamic weather with night and day racing.
Moreover, developer Turn 10 is introducing a new Mod system that allows customizable difficulty, so if you’re looking for a higher level for challenge, the new mod system is for you.
During an interview the mod system was briefly explained by Bill Geise, Creative Director for Forza Motorsport 6. Offering an example, he revealed there is a modification system in place that will let you start from the back of grid with no rewinds, so winning will require you to complete the laps with perfection.
Since the challenge is of higher difficulty, the reward will be notable. Adding such difficulties to the game will reward you with more XP and cash at the end of the race.
Geise related the feature to Halo’s Skull System but stressed that Turn 10 is going for authenticity in Forza 6, that will in no way be affected by the Mod System.
The new racer is planned for a release exclusively on Xbox One on September 15. The title will feature 26 race tracks, 10 of which are completely new to the series.
There is also a single-player mode which offers over 70 hours of content. Developers have added over 450 Forzavista cars, all highly customizable.
The standard edition of Forza 6 will cost you $59.99, while the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition are priced at $79.99 and $99.99 respectively.
