According to EA Sports producer Nick Channon, developers are making improvements to gameplay systems within Fifa 16 to take everything up a notch.
We have heard similar statements before, so take things lightly.
Developers wanted to use this year to take a step back and look at the game as a whole. Look at everything that we do, all the systems that we have… how do we bring the level up everywhere and how can we innovate? It’s as simple as that really, we’re looking at every system within our game and innovating within them all.
He noted that developers have been actively listening to feedback from player, particularly regarding better midfield-play and defending.
Balance between attacking and defending is improved and players will notice defenders doing better to keep up with the wingers.
In Fifa 15, we saw players like Messi, Ronaldo, Bale running past defenders with ease, but due to increased agility, defenders will give a hard-time to attackers in Fifa 16.
