One of the most anticipated but unannounced games currently is Red Dead Redemption 2, the sequel to Rockstar’s other mega hit which came out in 2010.
If you remember, there was an apparently solid rumor that the game will be unveiled at E3 2015, some of the news websites even got over excited and said that the game was most definitely going to be featured at the event, but that was not the case.
We had many other games, and big ones too, but Rockstar was zip-lipped which makes me wonder why are they keeping things under the wraps.
Seeing how it has been a long time coming and the rumor mill has been churning out alleged leaks for a while, we are sure the announcement will come anytime now. For that reason, the only suitable time that comes to my mind currently is Gamescom 2015.
Gamescom 2015 is scheduled to be held between August 5 and August 9 and that could be what Rockstar is eyeing for Red Dead Redemption 2.
Another reason why the reveal could be targeting Gamescom is that Microsoft has been boasting of having equally awesome announcements to make at the event as they had at E3. There aren’t many other games on the card that could equal the hype of RDR2.
The alleged leak that suggested an E3 reveal had called the game Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West, adding that it would be a prequel for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
We have heard that the game has been in the making for more than three years and as is the case with Rockstar, they would go public with it only when they are sure of the product.
Seeing the hype that the game has already mustered, it could be a pleasant surprise if Red Dead Redemption 2 is officially unveiled at E3.
Do you think the game will get the official reveal at Gamescom 2015?
