After being announced back in 2013, The Division is finally being released in March 2016. Fans who are eager to get their hands on the title, can do so a bit early by taking part in the beta.
Ubisoft took to stage at E3 and announced The Division Beta on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Due to a partnership between Microsoft and Ubi, Xbox One players will get to play the game earlier then PC and PS4 users.
The Division beta kicks-off in December on Xbox One, while PS4 and PC users will have to wait until early 2016. Players can head over to the official The Division website to sign-up for the beta. Sign-ups went live earlier and will give access to players for an unknown period of time.
Usually beta tests are used to test the waters and see if there are any issues within the game before release. However, a beta so close to release won’t help matters much if there turned to be severe issue with the game.
The Division is a massive game and is being developed by a company who managed to break Tetris, so surely there are going to problems with The Division.
However, hopefully these won’t be game breaking bugs that will ruin our experience. The Division will release on March 8, 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
