The Fallout 4: Pip-Boy Edition is available again for pre-orders at various retailers, but is so for a very limited time, Bethesda has announced.
According to a new blog post, the developer stated that it was able to “squeeze some more Pip-Boys out of the factories” to meet fan demand. From the way the first wave of Pip-Boy editions were sold out at every retailer, it will be of no surprise that this second wave is also short lived. Bethesda should already be thinking of ‘squeezing’ a third wave.
The special edition is available for pre-ordering at $119 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. GameStop has it for all three platforms, while Walmart and Best Buy have only restocked the consoles’ versions. Amazon is expect to renew its shelf sometime this week.
The Fallout 4: Pip-Boy Edition features a functional Pip-Boy and Pip-Boy Pocket Guide, Robco Industries stand, capsule case, Vault-Tec Perk Poster, and a copy of the game. The special edition was announced at E3 2015 during Bethesda’s press briefing a couple of weeks back.
Fallout 4 is scheduled for release on November 10 for all three major platforms.
