The PC version of PES 2016 will have its own identity, and will be different from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, Konami has said.
Last year’s PC iteration of the soccer series felt a bit muddled, and was somewhere between the last-gen and current-gen versions. Naturally, it had fans in an uproar and Konami had to listen to a lot of angry gamers.
This year, the studio wants to assure fans that PES 2016 will be different. The PC version is promised to have more features, perhaps some being even exclusive, and major improvements.
In a statement passed on to WinningElevenBlog by European Product Manager, Adam Bhatti:
It’s not the same as PS4 or Xbox One. And it’s not the same as PS3 and X360. It’s its own thing. PS3 and X360 will see some minimal changes that will definitely benefit from the things like MasterLeague and micro improvements. And some of those things. And you’ll feel the gameplay change. The PC version will have its own sort of entity there. It’s got a lot more the features of PS4. A lot more the features of Xbox One.
He also mentioned that a PC demo will arrive before the game’s release, and players can try out the game for themselves to realize the improvements over last year’s game.
