During Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Press Briefing at E3 2015, David Vonderhaar confirmed that the new Gunsmith feature will boast social aspects.
Treyarch Studios is incorporating a new customization system called Gunsmith in Black Ops 3 which will allow players to add one optic and five attachments (with cosmetic variant for each included) to a weapon.
Vonderhaar has confirmed that Black Ops 3 will allow players to share their uniquely designed weapons with their online buddies.
Treyarch did not go into details of how all this will work out, but it seems like players will be able to use unique weapons created by their friends after they have unlocked that particular weapon and attachments.
Moreover, we do not know whether this social aspect will also include Paintshop or not – sharing one’s customized camo with the rest of the world will be cool!
In related Black Ops 3 news, Treyarch has confirmed that Weapon XP and Weapon Progression System from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will return to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer mode. To read up more, head over to the link provided!
