Rise of the Tomb Raider is one of the biggest holiday releases for Xbox One this year, apart from Halo 5. Lara’s next adventure is also coming to Xbox 360, as announced by MS and Crystal Dynamics previously.
However, this E3 came with some rumors and speculations regarding the new Tomb Raider title. Digital realms all over suggested that Xbox 360 version may have been scrapped, because it wasn’t mentioned on promotional materials.
Surely, those of you who heard about this would be concerned and I don’t blame you. However, rest assured Rise of the Tomb Raider will release as planned for both Xbox One and Xbox 360, Square Enix confirmed.
PC and PS4 versions of the other hand are yet to be dated.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was shown-off at E3 during Microsoft’s press-conference. The world gameplay premiere didn’t disappoint and raised our expectations evner higher.
The gameplay we were shown had Lara visiting Siberia in search of a lost city. Lara had plenty of near death moments which made us jump from out seats.
The gameplay further showed our female protagonist walking out of a caven to reach a mountain side. In a snowstorm, Lara and her companion are climbing up an icy mountain, when things start to go wrong. Puzzles are of a physics-based nature that will be centered around more ancient-themed spaces.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming on November 10 for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
