Persona 5 might not have been present at the E3 2015 presentation of Sony, but the game developers still have something to share about it.
The game has managed to garner a lot of attention already and now we have more details on the game’s story, characters as well as a new trailer.
On the English variant of their official website, the developers have provided an overview of the story. Here’s a part of it:
You will assume the role of a second-year high school student who becomes a Persona-user through an unexpected incident. Having moved to Tokyo just before the start of the school year, he finds residence at a cafe run by his parents’ friend, and is about to get his first taste of school life in the big city.
The synopsis also mentions the Phantom Thief saying that while the protagonist is a different (well-mannered, to be exact) person usually, after interaction with the Phantom Thief he becomes another person altogether.
As far as the new E3 trailer of Persona 5 is concerned, it is around three minutes long and features the major characters as well as some of the locations that are to be featured in the game especially the high school.
Persona 5 is slated for a release in the last quarter of 2015.
