Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones has been listed by the ESRB for a release on the Wii U, signifying that the title could hit the North American Wii U Virtual Console very soon.
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is the eighth installment in the series. It was previously released on Game Boy Advance in 2005 and the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console in 2011. The game is already available on the Wii U Virtual Console in Japan and PAL regions.
The tactical role-playing game is set on the continent of Magvel. The plot focuses on royal twins Princess Eirika and Prince Ephraim as they investigate why a longtime ally has chosen to invade their nation’s borders and the sudden appearance of monsters all over Magvel.
We’ll probably be hearing about a North American release date this weekend or next week by the latest.
