Nintendo has announced The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes during its E3 2015 digital media briefing.
It is dangerous to go out there alone, and that is why the new Legend of Zelda game will feature a multiplayer aspect where players will work together with each other to overcome dungeon challenges.
The concept is not new for the franchise, but this time around, players will be able to stack up into “totems” to interact with the environment. Up to three players can play together online at a time, and be able to lift each other over their shoulders to reach otherwise impossible areas.
The added height will allow players to hit hidden levers, jump across platforms, and more. In the case of single-player, the game will provide two additional characters for you to stack up with.
Additionally, The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes will also feature costumes that give the wearer unique traits and abilities. These can either be bought from shops or found as loot during your progression.
A samurai outfit, for example, will allow you to do a vicious spin attack, while a bomb outfit will turn all regular bombs into larger and more powerful bombs.
The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes is scheduled for a release later this year for the Nintendo 3DS.
