After an agonizing amount of wait, Crystal Dynamics has shared the gameplay world premiere footage of Rise of the Tomb Raider, along with a release date.
In the new gameplay shown during Microsoft’s press-conference at E3, Lara is seen looking for a lost city somewhere in Siberia. Lara will have plenty of near death moments throughout the game, if the new footage is any indication.
Similar to 2013’s Tomb Raider, the new installment in this iconic franchise, will feature different puzzles. The puzzles will take players longer to solve compared to the previous game.
Puzzles are of a physics-based nature that will be centered around more ancient-themed spaces. The gameplay showed our female protagonist walking out of a caven to reach a mountain side. In a snowstorm, Lara and her companion are climbing up an icy mountain, when things start to go wrong.
Lara’s next adventure starts on November 10 on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Stay-tuned for more on Rise of the Tomb Raider.
