As promised earlier this month, Electronic Arts’ officially brought the next Mirror’s Edge, dubbed Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, game to E3 2015 stage.
The brief footage we saw introduces us to the game’s primary protagonist named Faith along with a short introduction of the game’s backstory.
Your main character Faith does not require any weapons as she is able to tackle all her adversaries using her expertise in Martial Arts, environment knowledge, and parkour abilities.
According to Electronic Arts, the upcoming iteration cannot be considered as a sequel to the original game released in 2013, but more of a reboot which ‘honours the first game’ and brings in ‘new, interesting gameplay and features’ to the mix:
We have landed on a vision that honors the first game — pushing the boundaries of first person movement and diving deeper into the story behind our heroine Faith — but also brings a lot of great new, interesting gameplay and features to the experience for our players.

Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst is scheduled to arrive on Feb. 23, 2016 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
