Red Dead Redemption 2 Mentioned in Ubisoft’s New Survey
A new survey from Ubisoft, which was published over the weekend, may have inadvertently leaked the existence of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Participants were asked to select from a list of upcoming games based on which they were likely to purchase. All of the games mentioned have either already been confirmed by their respective publishers and developers, or been released. Here are some of the titles mentioned in the survey:
- A new Elder Scroll (Skyrim 2)
- Batman: Arkham Knight
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
- Dead Island 2
- Fallout 4
- Halo 5: Guardians
- Just Cause 3
- Mad Max
- Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
- Mortal Kombat X
- No Man’s Sky
- Quantum Break
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
- Titanfall 2
- Red Dead Redemption 2
Only two titles stood out and those were Red Dead Redemption 2 and the bizarre mention of a new Elder Scrolls title. Either Bethesda is working on a sequel to the Skyrim installment and in some way extending its story, or Ubisoft was in a hurry when it was designing this survey.
Fallout 4 was supposed to be the bombshell expected to be dropped at E3 2015. It, however, was announced earlier. I would like to see Red Dead Redemption 2 take that spot. The old west needs to be visited again, and I’m personally hoping a PC version is in the works as well.
