A new video released for Batman: Arkham Knight has celebrity gamers playing the yet-to-be released title (or celebrities being paid to show up in a few frames where they make us believe that they are actually playing the game and know what they are talking about).
The video is directed by Saturday Night Live’s Taran Killam and narrated by Jonathan Banks. The list of celebrities who convince us of how impressive Batman: Arkham Knight is, includes Neil Patrick Harris, Wiz Khalifa, Blake Anderson, Minka Kelly, Kumail Nanjiani, Breckin Meyer, Joe Manganiello, iJustine, Troy Baker and Kevin Conroy.
Earlier this week, graphics cards manufacturer Nvidia released a new video to showcase the “incredible effects” in Batman: Arkham Knight, which will be only possible if you own one of the company’s card that supports its GameWorks technology.
Nvidia’s GameWorks adds special effects like interactive smoke during the fight scenes, paper debris being disturbed, improved water and rain effects, and more.
Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled for a release on June 23 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is confirmed to weigh in at about 45 GB on all three platforms. Rocksteady’s conclusion of its Arkham trilogy is currently available for pre-order and pre-downloading.
