Amiibo figurine have seen the amount of success that even overwhelmed Nintendo, it is having a really hard time creating a balance between supply and demand.
Every wave is sold out within minutes and collectors are seen roaming around in even the most deepest parts of the internet, in search of these figurine.
Speaking of waves, Nintendo is planning on releasing its wave five and six of Amiibo figurine worldwide. However, the figurine are already on display in Japan, and thanks to a reddit user, we have our first look at wave five and six figurine, packed in their Japanese boxes.
The image gives us a look at Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, Palutena, and Dark Pit. Wave five is expected to hit retailers sometime in July, while wave six is planned for a September release. As usual, each of the figurine will be priced at $12.99.
As I mentioned, Nintendo is having a hard time maintaining a balance between supply and demand. The situation is frustrating for fans, but in the eyes of Disney Infinity executive producer John Vignocchi, it is unforgivable.
There is never an intention to create a shortage of any figures. It is irresponsible and rude to your hardcore fans. They don’t want to create frustration or the hunt. So they will be stocking the shelves well!
Do you think Nintendo is irresponsible in this regard?
