Apparently the recently released Fallout 4 trailer was enough for some fans to decipher the length of the game’s open world.
According to a group of very enthusiastic fans, the world of Fallout 4 is twice as large as that of Skyrim’s. This puts it at roughly 30 square miles or more.
The group took their clues from thoroughly analyzing the trailer and taking note of real-life monuments shown in the game’s fictional setting of Boston. By triangulating the monuments shown in different frames and at different angles on a real map, the group was able to calculate rough numbers.
It’s quite an interesting feat actually. You can read more on that by following the source mentioned below.
Bethesda Softworks, however, has yet to reveal any kind of information regarding the content of Fallout 4. The game is scheduled to appear at E3 2015, and where we’re expecting to see more in-game footage, along with the developer releasing information on the features Fallout 4 will be incorporating.
Fallout 4 is pegged for a release later this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The developer recently clarified that the game would not be releasing for the last-gen consoles because the aging hardware is simply unable to handle what Fallout 4 is capable of producing.
