Quantum Break Won’t Appear at E3, Next Update to Arrive at Gamescom

Company Chief Creative Officer of Remedy Games, Sam Lake, has announced that the company’s Xbox One exclusive title, Quantum Break will not make an appearance at Microsoft’s E3 press conference this year.

The news came via a short video update which Mr. Lake posted in order to celebrate the company’s 20th birthday. According to the video update, the game will not appear on E3 2015, and instead, will now appear at this year’s Gamescom. The reason behind skipping the E3 this year is not divulged!

In addition to this, Lake also stated that to celebrate the company’s 20th birthday, the company will invite one fan to join them in Finland. For more details, you can check out the video attached above!

The game is currently slated to release sometime during spring 2016 exclusively for Xbox One, but nothing can be said with utmost certainty.

With Quantum Break skipping this year’s E3, it will be interesting to see what Microsoft will bring to the show. Our guess includes Halo 5: Guardians, Scalebound, Forza Motorsport 6, and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
