Mega Man Legacy Collection Announced for PC, PS4, 3DS, and Xbox One

Capcom has announced the Mega Man Legacy Collection for PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo 3DS which is scheduled to release later this year.

The bundle packs the ‘reproductions’ for the six original Mega Man titles and also contains a Challenge Mode and a Museum Mode. In addition to the newly added modes, the bundle will also contain Replays and Leaderboard Support.

As the name suggests, the Museum Mode will contain concept art, background information, sketches, and high-resolution pieces of arts from the world of Mega Man. As for the Challenge Mode, it’s an agglomeration of different chunks from all six games with varied levels and difficulty settings.

The company has also announced that the Mega Man Legacy Collection will be based on a new engine named Eclipse Engine which is capable of transforming 8-bit games into HD.

The collection will only release digitally and will release on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One in the summer. As for the Nintendo 3DS version, it will follow in the winter. As for the price, it will set fans back $14.99.

Capcom has also revealed the bundle’s first trailer which can be seen attached above.
