Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Director Talks MOD SDK, Texture Upscale and More
E3 is just around the corner and we will get plenty of details related to Call of Duty Black Ops 3. However, Director of Development over at Treyarch, Cesar Stastny, couldn’t wait till E3 and have shared some tidbits about the new title over at Twitter.
Stastny talked about the graphical aspect of the game, and answered few fan questions. One of the fans claimed that he was able to run Black Ops 2 at 170-Fps without using anti-aliasing., will he be able to run Black Ops 3 at 60Fps maxed?
@TheChaseAR Graphics features aren’t even finished yet so it is premature to discuss what “maxed” means or the specs required for “maxed”.

Next Stastny was asked if it would be possible to get a texture upscale similar to Battlefield games.
@CookiesAreLaw Yep, we already have something like that. We’ll talk more about graphics features later in the year.

@KVennie I would love to release modtools. It would be big project. We won’t know if it is feasible until the game is much closer to done.
