At 06:00 AM PST today, Square Enix held their Active Time Report v.6.0 and discussed Final Fantasy XV and Episode Duscae 2.0 along with the company’s plans for future.
FFXV Game Director Hajime Tabata announced that the Episode Duscae 2.0 demo patch will launch on Jun. 9, 2015 in the West. He also stated that the patch was originally slated for a May release, but it got pushed back due to several issues including FPS problems and such.
Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2.0 patch will launch in the West at 08:00 PDT/16:00 BST while the patch will roll out in Japan tomorrow. The video embedded below highlights some of the changes made to the game with Episode Duscase 2.0 Patch:
In addition to this, Square Enix also showed off Final Fantasy XV Tech Demo #2 with developer commentary and how the game evolved into what it is today:
Square Enix also officially confirmed that Stella Nox Fleuret has been removed from the game and has been replaced by Luna – the details of Stella’s removal were not provided!
Lastly, the company announced that their next ATR will be broadcasted at Gamescom 2015 from Cologne, Germany in August 2015.
Final Fantasy XV is scheduled to launch, no one knows when, on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. And oh, Square Enix also hinted on a PC release.
