There’s good news for Amiibo collectors in Japan. Nintendo has announced plans to restock on rare Amiibo figures in the region by next month.
According to a tweet made by the official Twitter account of Nintendo, a total of six rare Amiibo figures will be back in stock with retailers next month. This pack includes the Marth, Ike, Lucario, Meta Knight, Lucina, and Robin figures.
Last month, the company apologized to its fan base for the increased shortages of Amiibo figures. They usually were sold out within hours of becoming available, leaving many consumers fuming while waiting to have them restocked.
Nintendo admitted that the sales for the product caught it off guard. “We understand how frustrating it can be at times if consumers are unable to find certain figures, and we apologize for that.”
The manufacturing amount is now being increased, and Nintendo also plans to improve its communications through social media channels. Safe to say, players will find it a bit easier now to get their hands on their favorite characters.
However, does that also include these six rare Amiibo figures? There is currently no word from Nintendo on whether these will also make their way to other regions.
