One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 will officially launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PC in North America on August 25, Namco Bandai has announced. The third chapter in the “Pirate Warriors” saga will then arrive in Europe, Middle-East and Australia on August 28.
In the United Kingdom, retailer Amazon is exclusively offering a limited Doflamingo Edition of the game which will include a 16cm high statue of the infamous One Piece antagonist. There’s no word on whether this edition will be available in other territories or not.
Luffy, along with his crew, will be taking on Hordy Jones and his horde of underlings. Players will be able to re-experience the original story with a number of popular characters that include Sabo, Doflamingo, Fujitora, and more. They all will have their own stories weaved into the main campaign.
A press release boasted the game’s capabilities on the PlayStation 4, stating that it “takes advantage of the astounding power provided to offer more enemies and more fast paced action than ever.”
This is also the first time that a One Piece title has been featured on Steam. PC players who are fans of the series will be greatly happy to take on Luffy’s adventures this August.
