Thanks to Microsoft, the Xbox App on Windows 10 will soon get some brand new features including Game DVR options, game hubs and plenty of other stuff.
As we know, Windows 10 isn’t yet publicly released but early builds are available in preview via Windows Insider Program. The Xbox app comes along with the preview build of Microsoft’s new OS and offers plenty of Xbox One related features to its users.
Microsoft added game DVR last month but the latest Xbox app update will allow users to set keyboard shortcuts of their choosing to call-up DVR. Additionally, users can set more shortcuts for Game DVR features like taking a screenshot, game recording and more.
Moreover, following the latest update each game will get its own hub similar to the Xbox One. Here users can see achivements, view game related activity in the news feed and more.
The update will also provide us with a way of accessing the Avatar app via the Xbox app, where you can customize your avatar according to your liking.
Your Xbox Live friends can now be designated as favorites, giving certain friends priority over others. User are getting the ability to turn on/off the Xbox One using the connect menu, just make sure both devices are on the same network.
