Mobile gaming is on the rise and some are even considering it the future. However, console and PC gamers are the ones who get all the attention, big budget games and what not. They are also given plenty of platforms to stream their gameplay.
While big budget games may not be on the cards for mobile for a long time, it is close to getting its own game streaming platform.
Mobile gamers will be happy to know that Mobcrush, a game streaming platform has managed to raise $4.9 million in seed funding, in order to build and expand their platform.
Investor include some of the top media, gaming, tech leaders such as Raine Ventures, First Round Capital, Lowercase Capital, CrunchFund, Rincon Venture Partners, Crosscut Ventures, Lionsgate, Advancit Capital, Kabam CEO Kevin Chou, former Kabam COO Chris Carvalho, Supercell early investor Jari Ovaskainen, Accel Venture Advisor Richard Wolpert, Evan Rifkin of Burstly/Testflight, CAA Ventures, BAM Ventures, and MTGx Ventures.
The platform is aiming to bring the best possible live streaming service to users, in addition to competitions and tournaments. Mobcrush CEO said:
