God of War III Remastered Available for Pre-Orders, New Hades Battle Trailer Released

God of War III Remastered is now available for pre-orders worldwide, Sony has announced.

Purchasing an early copy now through the PlayStation Network will reward you with a unique PlayStation 4 dynamic theme featuring Kratos, the ash-covered spartan warrior. Additionally, there’s a second “God of War – Fall of Olympus” dynamic theme which will be added to your accounts when the game releases in July. However, if you’re residing in North America, you’ll be able to get hands on the theme next week on May 26.

Those pre-ordering in North America through the PlayStation Network will also get a 90-day rental subscription through Sony’s game streaming service, PlayStation Now, which is going to be eligible for the first two installments in the series, God of War and God of War II.

A trailer released today shows the boss battle between Kratos and Hades, the Lord of the Underworld. The video is recorded at full HD and you can enjoy the smoothness of the combat on your screen.

God of War III Remastered will release for the PlayStation 4 on July 14. Alongside the ability to run at full 1080p with 60 frames-per-second, the overhauled version will also get its own Photo Mode. Players will be able to freeze the game at any time to add a “ton of creative camera and lighting options,” before capturing images and sharing them with friends.
