The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is just a few hours away from being unleashed on PC. However, how can you jump-in to this beautiful RPG before getting the latest Geforce Game Ready drivers? Nvidia has released the Game Ready Drivers for Geforce cards running The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The drivers are issued to enhance the game’s performance while using Hairworks and similar graphical perks. Nvidia wrote in a post on their official website:
The new driver will also ensure you have the definitive experience when enhancing your game with supported NVIDIA technologies, which include 4K, Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR), GameStream, GeForce Experience one-click Optimal Playable Settings, G-SYNC, HairWorks, HBAO+, PhysX, and SLI.
On the other hand, AMD users are being advised by CD Projekt RED not to use Hairworks and similar visual additions, which could result in underwhelming performance. The reason behind this is the code not being optimized to run the feature on AMD hardware. Still, you can use the feature at the risk of lackluster performance.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to PC and current-gen consoles tomorrow, May 19. If you wish to know the specs required to run the game, follow the link here.
