Medievil PS4 Doesn’t Exist, Leaked Video Was a Fan-Made Fake

Medievil PS4 leaked video was a fake created by a fan. This will surely be disappointing for fans who are hoping to see the game once again.

Just days ago we reported that a PS4 version of the classic Medievil game could be in the works. The whole thing was based on a new video that was allegedly from a new Medievil game.

The video was pretty convincing and was able to gain a lot of attention in a short period of time. Those who wanted to see the return of Sir Dan were excited to see the video, and had their hopes up for an announcement at E3.

Unfortunately, that footage was a fake and was created using the Unreal Engine 4 by a fan named Guillermo Moreno. This puts a nail in the coffin of the game’s return.

This is surely disappointing for fans of the series but you have to ask yourself, does it really matter? Wouldn’t it feel like beating up a dead horse? Medievil was great in its time but do we really need it to make a comeback?

Sony needs to come-out guns blazing at E3 because they are struggling in terms of their 2015 lineup. With Uncharted 4 out of the picture, Sony needs something else for the PlayStation 4 and Medieval isn’t what many of us care too much about now.

Of course, by all means, the video being fake isn’t proof that Sony doesn’t plan to bring the title to PS4. We could very well hear something at E3 but I strongly doubt it.

Do you really want to see Medievil on PS4?
