Remember how we reported yesterday on an expected Fallout 4 trailer that was allegedly being made by Guillermo Del Toro’s company Mirada Studios?
Back then, the only source we had to rely on was a 3D artist who mentioned the studio in his resume in relation to work he had allegedly done on the game’s cinematic trailer. Now, we have a much stronger reason to believe that the news is legit.
In an interesting turn of events, Mirada Studios contacted Destructoid after they covered the same story requesting them to take down the story since it had “inaccuracies” and, wait for it, an NDA agreement being broken.
Since Destructoid had not signed any non disclosure agreement with Mirada Studios, they went on to update the story with what the studio had said to them:
We received an email from Mirada Studios demanding we pull this story. A representative cited inaccuracies, but also confirmed the story was breaking a non-disclosure agreement. As nobody at Destructoid signed an NDA, we’re assuming that confirms somebody else broke NDA. I wonder who might be in trouble.
So yeah, whoever broke that NDA, the email sent by the studio has further strengthens the suspicions that a Fallout 4 trailer is actually coming our way pretty soon and is being made by Guillermo Del Toro’s studio.
Oh the good feeling I am getting writing this after reporting on countless expectations that turned out to be rumors alone!
Just a reminder, the 3D artist in question had mentioned in his CV that he had workeed on the said trailer between December 2014 and March 2015 which means the Fallout 4 cinematic trailer should be good to go; and we are only a month away from E3 2015 – you do the maths!
