This year we are getting the third installment in the Black Ops series from Treyarch, even though many of us hoped to see World at War 2. Plenty of improvements are expected to be made and some of them are related to matchmaking and lobby system of Call of Duty.
With each installment plenty of things change but even more remain stagnant, and multiplayer is one of them. I remember rage quitting the game plenty of times when I was thrown back in the same lobby over and over again, even after I left and tried to find a different one.
It could possibly be due to the system considering that particular lobby as the most suited for me, based on my internet connection. Nonetheless, I wanted to leave!
So will things be any different with Black Ops 3? Well, YouTuber Ali-A thinks so and has brought us some new information about the lobby system.
According to him, you will be deprioritized from a lobby once you leave. Although that lobby may have been the best one for you based on the criteria set by Treyarch, you will indeed end-up in a different lobby if you choose to leave.
More details are offered in the video posted above.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is heading to all major platforms on November 6, 2015. The game is expected to make an appearance at E3 next month, so look forward to more news in the coming weeks.
