Ever heard of graphic options on a console game? Yeah, it’s not something you see every day, but Slightly Mad Studios thought that it’s a good enough idea to be implemented in their upcoming racing sim Project CARS.
A video by Robert Cram of CramGaming shows off the pretty sleek in-game menu, and more importantly the Video settings. It seems to have options that you’d normally see in PC games, such as Post-Processing, Lens Flare, and Bloom, along with other various visuals related settings that might interest players.
At the moment, it is unclear whether or not tweaking these settings on console will have any major impact on performance, but given that there are some pretty sleek options, the common guess might be that Project CARS would require some tweaking even on consoles to get the best out of it.
After all, the game’s pre-release marketing content did show some of the most dazzling graphic details any gamer has ever come across.
After plenty of delays, the racing game from Slightly Mad Studios is nearing its release on May 8. We hope that the waiting pays off. Project CARS will be out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, so let’s gear up and get our respective platform ready.
