It’s May 4th and Star Wars fans are celebrating “Stars Wars Day” AKA “May The 4th Be With You.” Every entity in the gaming world celebrated the occasion in its own way. For instance, Sony along with Microsoft and Steam held sales to offer fans a selection of Star Wars games for cheap.
However, the last place we could expect to celebrate Star Wars Day, is I Am Bread. The weird and somewhat creepy bread-toasting simulator received a surprise update thanks to developer Bossa Studios.
The update is free of cost and adds a new game mode called “Starch Wars.” This mode is different from the main game and is about spaceship combat. However, the spaceships in question will look like different types of bread.
FOLLOWING THE DESTRUCTION OF THE PETROL STATION, THE REMAINING CRUMBS OF THE REBELLIOUS FLEET HAVE BEEN INTERCEPTED AS THEY HEAD TO THE PLANET OF ALL-DOUGH-NAAN. A LONE FREEDOM FIGHTER WITH THE CALL SIGN BREAD LEADER PICKS UP THE DISTRESS SIGNAL AND SPEEDS TO THEIR AID. AND YEP, YOU GUESSED IT; HE’S THEIR ONLY HOPE.
If you own a copy of the game, you can download the update now.
Keep in mind that in order to access the “Starch Wars” mode you will have to complete the opening chapter of I Am Bread.
I can’t think of a reason why a gamer shouldn’t own a copy of I Am Bread, but if you don’t, visit Steam where the game is available for $12.99.
