The Princess of Pop Britney Spears is working on Her Own Video Game

Stand aside, Mr. and Mrs. West! The Princess of Pop is getting into video game business and she’s stronger than yesterday – oops! Bad reference.

The pop sensation Britney Spears has partnered up with Glu Mobile with a five year contract and plans to release her mobile video game which will allow players to interact with Britney and experience the glitz and glamour of entertainment industry.

Speaking of the said partnership, Glu Mobile Chief Executive Niccolo de Masi issued the statement:

I am thrilled to add Grammy Award-winning legend Britney Spears to Glu’s growing list of partners as we continue to expand our celebrity gaming platform. We anticipate the title resonating tremendously with Ms. Spears’ nearly 90 million multi-generational social followers around the world.

Glu Mobile is the same company that released Kim Kardashian: Hollywood back in 2014 for iOS and Android-based devices and earned around $94.xx million to this date.

VB reports that the Chinese Internet company Tencent bought 14.6 per cent stake in Glu Mobile for $126 million; thence increasing its worth to $863 million.

With more and more celebrities entering the video game business, which celebrity would you like to see in the business? Personally, the Britney Spears’ one is a day-1 buy for me.
